With renewed focus, we declare that New Witt Baptist Church will be a beacon of hope, a place of healing, and foundation for future generations.

Our vision is to be a Christ-centered community of believers, passionately pursuing God's purpose by transforming lives through worship, discipleship, and service. As "a church with a new vision," we are committed to building a legacy of faith, embracing innovation to share the Gospel, and empowering individuals to shine God's light in a changing world.

New Witt Baptist Church was established in 1876, marking the beginning of 149 years of enduring faith and a lasting spiritual legacy within the Farmville, Virginia community. On May 24, 1906, trustees George Hardy, Dennie Flournoy, S. F. Saunders, Berry Watson, and Dennis Morris formally secured the church’s land by signing the deed, which was duly recorded in the County Clerk’s Office. The first sermon on the property, delivered by Reverend Jacob Randolph, set the foundation for generations of faith and fellowship to come. CLICK HERE to learn more.

We offer a wide range of services including weekly religious services, youth programs, community outreach events, and more. Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all who seek guidance and support.
